Book Description

January 1975
Ascending from the metaphysics of demonstrating effect to the higher dimension of mystical consciousness, in which life is lived by Grace, the reader is led into the realm of the soul: the earth of material experience melts and the light of Spirit dawns as stillness and silence of the soul-experience within.

About the Author

JOEL S. GOLDSMITH (1892-1964), a monumental teacher of practical mysticism, devoted most of his life to the discovery and teaching of spiritual principles which he founded and called The Infinite Way. After the publication of his seminal book, The Infinite Way, in 1947, Joel traveled throughout the world as a teacher and a healer. Although Goldsmith's message was neither organized nor advertised, students of The Infinite Way increased in numbers. Today, a worldwide student body exists which continues to practice and preserve his work. More than thirty books have been compiled from his tape-recorded lectures and classwork including: The Infinite Way; Practicing the Presence; The Art of Meditation. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

5.0 out of 5 stars Reaching the Threshold of Transcendance, July 29, 1996
By A Customer
This review is from: Beyond Words and Thoughts (Paperback)
A most exhilirating book for anyone interested in seriously pursuing the mystical life. Students of the Infinite Way will find in its pages the vehicle for understanding the "letter of truth" that propels the student into the spiritual dimension of Oneness beyond all words and thoughts. For some, it could very well serve as the breakthrough means for breaking out of the crust of human consciousness into the mystical realm of union in Spirit.

I am rereading Joel Goldsmith books right now. I had forgotten how much truth this book has between its covers.
I have had spiritual insights reading this book . I love the simplicity of the wording and know that he is speaking the truth and has experienced what he is writing about. I read this book in the 1980's and got a lot from it then but get even more insights this time. I highly recommend this book but my all time favorite of his books is "A Parenthesis in Eternity.

2.0 out of 5 stars Less enlightening than other works, June 7, 1996
By A Customer
This review is from: Beyond Words and Thoughts (Paperback)
Though Goldsmith's major teaching was beyond words and thoughts, this book again seems to be heavily edited to the point were much of the consciousness has been diluted
