One of the first thermoelectric coolers, the portable ThermaFridge Deluxe food storage unit easily travels to the office, to the beach, or on long car trips. The ThermaFridge keeps soda, wine, or perishable foods cool down to 40 degrees Fahrenheit. However, with the flip of a switch, the unit operates as a warmer for foods such as fried chicken or pie and temperatures can be adjusted as high as 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The ThermaFridge has enough room for about four wine bottles or the equivalent in food. Its door has additional shelf space for about two 1-liter water bottles and a small upper tray for butter or condiments. The mini-cooler/warmer comes with a 6-foot AC power cord for indoor use and a DC vehicle power cord for taking meals to go. The ThermaFridge has a durable plastic exterior with a built-in carrying handle. It measures 13 by 24 by 4 inches, weighs only 16 pounds, and comes with a base stand so you can rest it on a floor or countertop. While it was working it was a great product. When the power supply went out I could never get a replacement.

My wife bought the Biagiante thermal fridge for me for Christmas, 2003. But it was very noisey from the beginning and it stopped working altogether on May 20, 2004. I realize it wasn't very expensive, but a five month product life is pretty bad. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Doug

We got two of these. One of them broke almost immediately, and was replaced. It broke again and was replaced. When it broke the third time, I called and was told it's been discontinued and too bad. Now the second one is broken. These are good for only a very short while. I'd suggest buying something else, and I would never knowingly buy anything from this manufacturer again. Ever.
