5.0 out of 5 stars Stronger than expected
.. The model I got was gray, with the model number being CF01-G-7A. It is the size as shown on the Amazon picture and also has 425 cubic inches of space inside.

Now onto the actual review. While it was advertised as being able to cool down to 40 degrees, I left one soda can and a thermostat in it overnight and it got down to 29 degrees! Very impressive. I have only...

1.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good while it lasts....
I purchased this model from a retail outlet about 8 months ago. In fact, I purchased two - one for myself and one as a gift. It really does a very good job of keeping beverages cold, and because of its small size, it's really handy. The bad news is that after the first 6 months, the motor got really loud... It really does a very good job of keeping beverages cold, and because of its small size, it's really handy. The bad news is that after the first 6 months, the motor got really loud... REALLY loud... and then died. I thought perhaps it was just mine, but the one I gave as a gift went through the same process and is now gone, as well. At these prices, I guess they're a disposable item, but they should really have lasted a bit longer than they did.

I have only had it for one night so my guess is that it may not cool down as far if you load it up completely and I can't tell you about the long-term performance. Also beware of the space. It can barely store 9 cans if they're put on their sides.

3.0 out of 5 stars I thought this would be good for my office..., November 19, 2003
This review is from: Biagiante ThermaFridge Thermoelectric Hot/Cold Food Storage Appliance, White (Kitchen)
The features of this fridge are all good. Keeps food cold but can also warm things up! Only $80 thats a pretty good deal. But don't be fooled all; all that fits is a lunch bag and a bottle of pop. Anymore stuff and your out of luck. I always like to keep at least 3 kinds of soda on hand and maybe some cheese... you know a bunch stuff to nibble on throghout the day. If your like me. Look at the size of the fride before you buy it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Diiabetics can carry insulin, December 7, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Biagiante ThermaFridge Thermoelectric Hot/Cold Food Storage Appliance, White (Kitchen)
Diabetics can carry their insulin which needs temperature control and needs to be used through the day or night. Other medical needs would fit here as well. Diabetics also eat to keep their insulin levels in control. This would be a keeper for their food or drinks as needed. This would be a life saving item for this purpose.

5.0 out of 5 stars A GREAT MACHINE, August 18, 2007
This review is from: Biagiante ThermaFridge Thermoelectric Hot/Cold Food Storage Appliance, White (Kitchen)
it's too bad others appear to have had bad experiences. i bought my mini fridge in 2002 for my desk at work. it's now 2007. it's been plugged in constantly since then, except for the two times i moved desks across the room. it's never given me a moments problem and the noise has not been an issue. recently i noticed it is suddenly going from cold to warm, so i can't trust it to keep food chilled over night or for the weekend. i guess its life is about over. i'll buy another soon.

I bought this fridge to store some cold sodas in my office. It works well enough and keeps the sodas cold. It also is an attention-getter due to its stylish design. However, for the life of me I can't get past the noise of the motor. I tried putting a box between me and the fridge, but in my office the sound reverberates off the walls. It's now sitting unplugged with some warm sodas inside. I'll probably end up giving it to someone who doesn't mind the noise.

3.0 out of 5 stars Loud Motor, April 8, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Biagiante ThermaFridge Thermoelectric Hot/Cold Food Storage Appliance, White (Kitchen)
I bought this machine in May 2003 and seemed like a great idea to have in my office. However, the motor on the fridge now makes really loud sounds and when I bought the machine it was quiet.
Also you really have to store/buy really compact containers and juices to fit in fridge, because it is rather small. I'm not sure if the motor is planning on giving up but it sure sounds that way. If you are a person who eats kidsize portions of food and doesn't bring leftovers in big tupperware dishes, then this product may be for you. Otherwise, invest in a quality fridge that will last longer than this product seems too.
