I don't know what "Bible Nut" is talking about...this is one of the finest audio Bibles I have ever listened to...thank you Tyndale for bringing an already great translation to life...literally. Great for family Bible time.

This is an awesome product. If you have never read the bible and want to get to know Jesus, or whether you've read the bible from cover to cover, this CD is for you.

The words of the new testament were meant to be heard, and the dramatization really brings to life these events and allows them to enter your heart in a meaningful way.

Listening to the expressions, gives you a better understanding of what you are hearing.

I recommend it for you and all your family members. Its a great gift, that keeps on giving.

Bible Alive is a wonderful listening tool to inspire you busy day. I listen as I drive to work to start my day with the LORD'S WORD. I love the dramatization of the New Testament! Bible Alive allows you to picture what is happening because of accompanying noises of crowds to let you know JESUS had masses of people following HIM. I listen at work at well and it soothes my busy days. I am really glad I purchased Bible Alive! A Co Worker allowed me to listen briefly to a few of her CDs and I was instantly overwhelmed with the quality and theatrics of the voices. I think its wonderful to read along with the bible as well. I have begun to study the bible more intently because of Bible Alive. I recommend this strongly especially if you have a busy schedule. I plan on purchasing the old testament as well. I am so grateful for the blessing of Bible Alive...Its truly an adventrous trek through the New Testament like I have never experienced before. Simply wonderful!

I bought this bible on cd for my Dad for Father's Day..and he listens to it almost every day..he plays different parts over and over..he says he loves the clear vocal translation and just to be able to relax and listen to the word of God at home.

What a great production of the Bible! Very easy to understand this translation! Interesting to listen to!!! My 60 year old friend couldn't understand the Bible so I bought this version. It was great for him!

This was the prefect gift to myself. I am still listening to it nightly. In fact, I bought another one w/James Earl Jones on it, but it doesn't have the drama filled voice like this one has.

I was sorely disappointed in this product from Tyndale. I own the printed format of the NLT, several copies for the family in fact, and looked forward to having this to enjoy while traveling. Instead of the highly professional presentation described on teh container it seemed more like a school play with a star trying to carry all the scenes. Mr. Johnston does a fine job but the eerie background music is often so distracting as to make listening a real chore and far from an enjoyable educational experience. There must be a better audio version for the NLT than this one.

not good. thought i would get a modern translation of the bible on audio. i put in the book of revelation. and could'nt stop laughing.
not at God's word or the nlt which i like. but at the presentation. it sounds like monty python doing the bible badly.
i would rather hear the old king james then this. it least it sounds majestic and reverant. this sounds like a comedy skit.

I love to listen to this version. I know it's got some translation issues, but it's well done and more accurate than TLB. For some reason there is a VERY conspicuous lack of online versions of this bible. The only one I've found is very hard to use. The publisher should place the old version online as a pdf, doc or txt file.

I am not happy with the way my order was handled, I was to have free shipping and when i confirmed my order over $17.00 was added for shipping. I do not ever plan on ordering anything from you again. I feel i was ripped off..
