Absolutely Recommended, March 18, 2006

This narration is without comparison. The narrator (unfortunately anonymous) is without drama, yet accentuates the passages very well. The voice is a smooth baritone that does not rush or drag. There is no music background or sounds. This allows the listener to enter the scenes without distraction. The popular narrators (Scourby, Zoursky, Johnston) seem to rush or present in a fashion too dramatic for my taste. The narrator's pronunciation of the old Hebrew names is impeccable. I have listened to the first 6 volumes. I am on a mission to find the rest.

Great Bible CD... But Bought It Much Cheaper, November 3, 2008

This series is an excellent reading of the KJV Bible. The reading is just that, a straight forward reading of scripture. No dramatic reading, music, or sound effects.
The reader is listed on the CDs as Pastor Bob Beeman. Most of the CDs have a copyright date of 2005 The Clever Factory Nashville, TN.
The only problem that I find is the price that is being asked for this item. I purchased all of my CDs from Dollar Tree stores for .50 or 1.00 each.
