My book is a resource for those in need of an entertaining way of teaching Biblical concepts using puppetry. This resource was written with 6 months worth of puppet skits, 24 in all. Each month is centered on a certain Biblical theme, such as forgiveness, love, obedience, etc. There is a scripture verse included in each month's lesson for the sole purpose that repetition brings remembrance. Also with this resource the teacher can set up the stage and use the same props all month long. This method cuts down expense and trying to come up with something new every service. The children will get to know the characters and the Word of God will be deeply rooted in their hearts at the same time.

About the Author

Lori Schoessler has been actively involved in children's ministry for fifteen years. She began in her father's church when she was a young teen ministering in the children's church through the use of puppetry and drama. For the past five years she has served as the Preschool Puppet Team Director for Family Harvest Church Internation. While building her puppet team, she has developed and written a comprehensive five-week training manual used for new recruits. Along with their weekly performances, Lori's puppet team has also been selected to perform in various events that Family Harvest Church has hosted for community outreaches and VBS. Lori writes all the weekly puppet/people skits which are performed during preschool Sunday School. These dynamic and powerful skits are available in the "Joy For Jesus" curriculum which is produced by Family Farvest Church International.

These puppet skits are entertaining for children of all ages as well as it builds strong character values in them at the same time. The skits are well thought out and easy to perform whether you are an experienced puppeteer or not. We have used puppet skits written by this author for years and I can say that the children enjoy every one of them - even the adults too. This book is well worth the money!

This book not only has some of the best written skits for any age child, but the values that it will add to a child's spiritual as well as physicial growth is exceptional! They are well thought out skits which any experienced or inexperienced puppeteer can perform. We have used the skits written by this author for years and the children love them - so do the adults, too! Well worth the money!
