This guide provides Bible in 90 Days readers with a brief overviews, study questions, and encouragement to keep going in their daily readings. The Participant's Guide is also sold separately. The Bible in 90 Days is both a Bible and a curriculum that allows individuals to complete what for many Christians is the goal of a lifetime---to read through the Bible completely, from 'cover to cover,' in a manageable time frame. The basic plan consists of reading 12 pages a day of a specially prepared large-print Bible---a task that usually takes between 45 minutes and an hour---to help readers achieve their goals. Many people spend more time than that commuting back and forth to work every day! About the Author
Ted Cooper Jr. founded the Bible in 90 Days ministry in 2002, following almost 20 years in the computer industry. A lifelong agnostic, in 1999 Ted read the Bible from cover to cover in three months. Not only did this experience transform Ted into a believer, it led him to develop a unique curriculum to help others succeed in doing this reading. VIDEO NOTES ON YOUR OWN BETWEEN SESSIONS This Week's Reading Tips ? Memorize your mission, which is: to read, attentively, every word of the Bible in 90 days. ? Don't expect to be able to consciously recall everything you read. At this point, focus on what you can recall and don't worry about the rest. ? Don't expect to understand everything you read. Pay attention to what you do understand and don't worry about the rest. ? At least once during this week, try breaking up your daily reading into two or more sessions. Genesis Overview Genesis is the book of beginnings and sets the stage for everything that follows in the Bible. It establishes God as the creator of all that is --- in heaven, on earth, and beyond. It focuses on the essential rela tionship of humanity, the relationship between God and the people he created. In Genesis we see Satan entice Adam and Eve to disobey God, which establishes the central conflict of human history. The remainder of the Bible is the story of how God resolves that loss of relationship throughout human history. Exodus Overview Exodus is not only the story of Israel's departure from the land of Egypt, it is the story of Israel's departure from the lifestyle of Egypt. It is not merely a journey of time and distance, it is a journey of the heart as a holy God prepares his chosen people to live the life he offers in the land he has provided. What a journey it is as God reveals himself and invites his people into relationship with him! Read This Week Pages 1 -- 84 of the NIV Bible in 90 Days (Gen. 1:1 -- Ex. 40:38) 17 S E S S I O N 1 Personal Progress If it is helpful to do so, use the following chart to record your read ing progress this week. Establish a reading schedule that works well for you --- then stick with it. Try to make it a habit to pray before you begin reading each day, asking God to use his Word to instruct and guide you.

This is designed to be a curriculum for a small group. The leaders kit includes the video. However, the participant's guide will guide you through the Bible in 90 days none the less. This is an excellent way to read through the Bible with a group to help motivate you to keep going. I highly recommend the group study.

This book MUST be used in conjunction with the video series. It cannot be used as a stand-alone guide to reading through the Bible in 3 months. Unfortunately, it was a waste of money. Nevertheless, I continue to enjoy Bible reading at less than warp speed. :)

This is a well-done "project". A lot of people have intended on reading the Bible but never quite got around to it. This is really easy and a fun way to do something we've wanted to do for a long time. Just think....in 3 months you will have done it!It's true you don't have to have this particular Bible to read but it is helpful. I highly recommend this to all those folks wanting to read the "Greatest Book Ever Written"!
