Great commentary set, and it comes with Accordance!,

The Bible Speaks Today commentary set is lively and backed by excellent scholarship. As a pastor, I find that the questions that bug me as I read a passage are usually addressed, and addressed well, in these commentaries. I especially love the ones written by John Stott. I've read through his Romans, 1&2 Timothy, and Titus, and they are all excellent. I highly commend this commentary set.Even better, this CD-Rom comes with Accordance Bible Software, hands down the best Bible software for the Mac or any computer. Accordance makes the BST set searchable in ways that are frankly amazing. Links to maps, to timelines, cross-references to other passages, all are easy to find. With the Accordance search engine, even complex searches are easy to construct. And Accordance offers video tutorials on their website that'll walk you through anything you want to do. I highly recommend this set and this program. |
