This is one of the greatest foundational studies around. It never gets old or dated. It is perfectely systematic! More churches ought to return to systematic teaching to strengthen the lives of their members. The whole series focuses on basic doctrine with how to live the Christian life! Not dry theology or doctrine... It's doctrine with life skills.

This is a great bible study. I am using it to disciple a couple of young men and it works great!

I have taught this bible study 5 times now. It is an excellent tools. I am always learning new revelations when I study it. I have also read the overcoming life and would like to get a new copy of it. thank you.

If you are longing to know Jesus this Bible Study will help you in taking your first steps in this wonderful journey of knowing God and knowing who you are in Christ. It will help you to understand and may answer some of the questions you have about The Atonement, why we give, what are the Last Days and your purpose in this world by asking questions and having you look up the answers in the Bible. Of course it's not all black and white you will need the help of the Holy Spirit to give you revelation and understanding. One of the best bible studies we've ever done. Fill in the blank format, with scripture references to look up for each. All the basic topics are covered. I didn't grow up in a Christian home. This study quickly helped me understand God through His Word.

The book of Hebrews tells us that we need to grow up in Christ and get beyond the milk of the Word (basic foundational truths) and begin to eat real meat, the deeper things of God. This book takes the Bible student/disciple through the milk of the Word and prepares him/her to eat the meat. It is a wonderful tool for anybody who desires to disciple others!
