Review

"Greg Gutfeld is the funniest person on TV. Read this book immediately and see for yourself."
-Ann Coulter

"Greg Gutfeld is a brilliantly funny writer and social commentator. This is the first time anyone has asked me to write a "blurb" for their book. It's even less fun then I thought it would be."
-Jim Norton, New York Times bestselling author of Happy Endings and I Hate Your Guts

"Greg Gutfeld is uproariously funny and is one of my favorite guests."
-Dennis Miller

"Even though Greg Gutfeld was once rude to me on the phone because Time Warner screwed up his home cable system, he is still the funniest, most incisive political writer on the right. Trust me, you don't want him setting his sights on your hypocrisy and public failings."
-Andrew Breitbart, founder of BigGovernment.com and Breitbart.com

"As a rule I never read books I blurb, but I couldn't resist with this one. I even gave it to my 13-year-old son, who poured over it slack jawed all afternoon, thus warping him for life. It's that subversive and good."
-Tucker Carlson

"There's a reason that more people watch Greg Gutfeld's hit show Red Eye at 3:00 AM than watch most of the other cable news networks in prime time-he is one of the most creatively funny people on television. Irreverent, over the top, and comedy served up raw is the best way to describe Greg's style. His book is THE BIBLE OF UNSPEAKABLE TRUTHS but don't even attempt to convince God that reading this substitutes for daily Bible reading. After reading this, you'll NEED to read the real Bible-but you'll laugh yourself holy reading this one!"
-Gov. Mike Huckabee

"Greg Gutfeld is funnier than all the smart people I know, and smarter than all the funny people I know. I don't know what that makes him. But one of the smartest, funniest people I know, is fair to say."
-Matt Labash, senior writer at The Weekly Standard and author of Fly Fishing With Darth Vader

More About the Author

Greg Gutfeld has been called "outrageous and outspoken," neither of which he denies. A libertarian political satirist, humorist, magazine editor and blogger, he is perhaps best known as the co-host of the hit show "The Five" and as the former host of the Fox News Channel's program "Red Eye With Greg Gutfeld" which covered a variety of topics, including news, entertainment, sports, and gossip.

Greg is also host of "The Greg Gutfeld Show" on the Fox News Channel where he parodies current events on a weekly basis and converses on key issues, bringing a comedic twist to the news. Additionally, Gutfeld interviews newsmakers and culture critics on the major headlines of the week.

The Weekly Standard calls him "the most dangerous man on television." According to the magazine, unlike other media darlings, "Gutfeld's stuff actually is subversive, a stink bomb hurled into every faculty lounge, mainstream newsroom, movie studio, and nonprofit boardroom in America."

Prior to joining Fox, Gutfeld was a staff writer at Prevention and editor-in-chief of Men's Health magazine. He later became editor-in-chief of Stuff, where he increased circulation from 750,000 to 1.2 million and created controversy month after month. He helmed Maxim magazine in the U.K., and was a contributor to the Huffington Post, where he became legendary for his "inspired, lunatic ridicule of his leftwing fellow Huffers." He's been published in countless magazines, has appeared in too many profiles to mention, and was only fingerprinted once.

He currently blogs on his own site, GGutfeld.com, as well as Breitbart.com, where he writes about the news and pop culture of the day, from a conservative libertarian humorous slant. He's appeared on dozens of TV shows, and is a regular on "The O'Reilly Factor."

He is the author of five books, among them, two New York Times Best Sellers, "Not Cool" and "The Joy of Hate" along with "The Bible of Unspeakable Truths," which garnered praise and pithy quotes from the likes of Dennis Miller, Mike Huckabee, Ann Coulter and Andrew Breitbart who said: "Trust me, you don't want him setting his sights on your hypocrisy and public failings." Consider yourself warned.

Anyone who is a fan of the quick-witted host of Fox News Channel's "RED EYE" will laugh even harder than usual as you read Greg's unfettered attacks and dissection of everything from the media's love affair with Obama... to condoms... to pets... to religion... to obesity... to kids... to sex... to crimes... to death row... and even people who sit in trees in Berkeley... and everything in between. All of these varied topics are sprinkled with the author's parenthetical humor which is like icing on the proverbial cake.

In discussing the media's relationship with Obama Gutfeld writes: "IF YOU FOUND OUT THAT YOUR NEW GIRLFRIEND, WHO HAPPENED TO BE MEGAN FOX, WORKED WITH ACORN, HUNG AROUND WITH A RADICAL LEFTIST/BOMBER, AND USED TO DO COKE BACK IN COLLEGE-WOULD YOU CARE?... OF COURSE YOU WOULDN'T! IT'S MEGAN FOX!!!... CONGRATULATIONS: YOU'RE NOW THE NEW YORK TIMES." The author also takes a very strong stand on how the media and protestors manipulate the truth about anything relating to war such as when the New York Times had a front page article on American war vets of modern wars: "THE TIMES SAYS THEY'RE ALL HOMICIDAL MANIACS, COMMITTING UP TO 121 MURDERS TOTAL, STATESIDE. BUT THIS IS THE "TIMES", OF COURSE, SO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY LEAVE OUT IS ALWAYS MORE IMPORTANT THAN WHAT THEY LEAVE IN. I'M TALKING CONTEXT. OH-AND SOUL. IN THE NEW YORK POST, WRITER ANDY SOLTIS, ALONG WITH OTHER BLOGGERS, POINTED OUT THAT THE MURDER RATE FOR RETURNING VETS IS ONLY ONE-FIFTH THAT OF YOUNG AMERICANS WHO DID NOT FIGHT. THE TAKE-HOME MESSAGE: IF YOU WANT TO MAKE PEACE, MAKE WARRIORS."

All the subjects are not as serious as this... such as the unfair depiction of squirrels as compared to rats... his recommendation of opening an amusement park based entirely of STD's... and the more serious...

Mr. Gutfeld works out at the same gym I do, and even though the tvs are always tuned to liberal channels, he never asks that they be changed (this gym is the old-fashioned, authoritarian type where channel changing by non-employees is verboten). This indicates to me that he is a patient man. Also, he is not one of those celebrities who seeks adulation while pretending not to seek it. This indicates to me that he is a humble man. His tv show is funny. This indicates to me that he is a funny man. Books written by patient, humble, funny men who work out at the same gym I do may be common in your experience, but they are rare in mine, so I am buying this one. I recommend you do likewise.

"The Bible of Unspeakable Truths" by Greg Gutfeld is a 283 page LOL stream of consciousness,(if by unspeakable you mean written and if by stream you mean snippett). Just read it, Just readers. "Unspeakable Truths" is entertaining while educating. Contemplation of Gutfelds "warm and soapy words" won't leave you with a headache, but your sides will be sore from laughter. This collection of common sense truths challenge the political correctness of both the lunatic left and radical right speak. Reading pages 22-24 make it worth the purchase price alone. Just buy it, Just buyers. Gutfeld hosts FOX NEWS'Red Eye. It's the hottest show on cable at 3:00AM. The style of humor on the show carries over in the book. "The Bible of Unspeakable Truths" is HILARIOUS. I'd like to say I LMAO, but I still have some left. Watch the show, you'll love the book even more. Read the book, you'll love the show even more. Just watch it, Just watchers. On a scale from 1 to 10, I'd give it a 15!!!

"...for as we all know, academics are simply frill-necked lizards that have assumed human form." If you enjoy iconoclastic humor then you probably already know Greg Gutfeld. Creator and host of "Red Eye" on the Fox News Channel at 3am EST, he pretty much sets the standard today. The Bible of Unspeakable Truths reads like the script of a stand-up comedy act if you like your comedians slightly psychotic. A fun read and yet, as social observation, dead on.

No sooner than i ripped open the envelope from my mailbox that contained 'The BIBLE of Unspeakable Truths,' my neighbor ran up to me and grabbed Greg Gutfeld's book out of my hands and started rifling through the pages. Laughing to herself, she started reading out loud from the book as she followed me back to my house. For the next half hour, she read one hilarious excerpt after another (about sex, reporters, media asses, morality, racists, sports, sex, politics, celebrities, crime, drugs, stupid brats, pets, health-food...did i mention sex?) as we both howled over the human comedy we all are too familiar with but too polite to admit. Let Greg Gutfeld do it for us, he's not.

I promised my neighbor she could have my copy as soon as i read it; otherwise she would've continued reading and i wanted to make something to eat. It's a "must-have" How-To Manual on getting through life without killing somebody...or yourself. And laugh until the last unspeakable hour.

The Bible of Unspeakable Truths is pure, unadulterated Gutfeld. I could actually hear his voice through the writing. You gotta hand it to the author, it's hard to capture idiosyncrasies in print and still be funny. Most of the time it doesn't work. But this definitely works! Obviously, it would help if you're already familiar with the late-night show Red Eye and it would probably help if you swing to the right politically but these are not requirements for enjoyment.

Greg tackles a broad range of subjects, never spending more than a page or two on each; which makes the reading quite enjoyable and never tedious. Some of my favorites include: "'Meaning Well' Is a Camouflage for Ruining Your Life; "America Has No Need for David Beckham"; and "Values Are Not the Same As Truth". Highly recommended!
