It seemed to be self evident that a Bible verse ABC book would select verses that began with the various highlighted letters of the alphabet. Not this book. Some of the verses start with the emphasized letter but most do not. The author picks a word within the verse and highlights it. For example, the letter "J's" verse is "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience..." None of the verses uses the name of Jesus. Overall I found the selection of verses disappointing with 18 of 26 letters using abridged verses. For example, "A" is "Accept one another..." That's it! Not the best. Finally, the drawings are described as "whimsical." I would describe them as bordering on weird. Sorry I bought it.
