This is a very well done product if you are looking for a very easy to read bilingual Bible. It is the easiest to read English/Spanish bilingual Bible available. I have reviewed many different products and this is definitely the easiest to read (easier than the Message, New Living, Good News, Dios Habla Hoy, etc). I also own the DHH and this is much much easier to read. I am using it for learning Spanish and the simple sentences and structure make it a wonderful way to learn grammar for a beginning or intermediate Spanish student. The Spanish is a translation of "Basic English" and only has 850 different words (excluding names). I started reading it after completing the Pimsleur Spanish series so I only had a Spanish vocabulary of about 500 words. I was able to read and understand about half of the verses so it was just about perfect for learning. My Spanish has advanced a little now so this is now more "fun" Spanish reading that is not as much "work." I still very much enjoy reading this Bible becaue there are not many "real" books in Spanish I can read other than children's books. On a long flight I decided to read the English version and I was quite pleased so I am sure I will be using the Spanish version for quite a while as just an every day Spanish Bible. It is very simple English so much of the detail of the Bible is lost and some people may be critical of this version for that reason. The publisher has several pages online in a pdf version so you can see the quality of this product at that site. The font is a good size and easy to read (many bilingual Bibles have very small print). One note, this Bible only includes the New Testament. The price is amazing and well worth it.

This is a great Bible to give to Spanish speakers to learn English and read God's word at the same time. Both the Spanish and English is written on about a 3rd grade level, so I use the Bible to learn Spanish.
