Quick Review,

This review is from: Biblical Greek Exegesis (Paperback)
A great follow-up to Wallace's "Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics: An Exegetical Syntax of the New Testament" (ISBN: 0310218950).This is not intended for the beginning student and is a great place to continue your Koine Greek.

Warning: not for self-study,
This review is from: Biblical Greek Exegesis (Paperback)
I have been learning Biblical Greek on a self-study basis and this book sounded as though it would be useful as a next step beyond Mounce's Basics of Biblical Greek. It is not. BE WARNED! It is clearly intended only for classroom use under the guidance of an instructor. The book only provides one illustration of its diagramming technique, and that passage is only four verses. The majority of the diagramming portion of the book consists of blanks where you can fill in your own diagramming. Do not spend your money on this if you are pursuing a self-study route.

Good Method for Exegesis,

This review is from: Biblical Greek Exegesis (Paperback)
I highly recommend this book. It provides a logical and detailed method for using Greek in exegesis and helped me apply what I had learned in other Greek classes. The section on semantic diagramming is especially helpful.
