This cassette contains all the vocabulary lists of Hebrew Step by Step by Menahem Mansoor(volume 1) plus the two or tree extracts from the book of Genesis that form the last, inductive part of that manual.The speaker also reads some of the examples that appear in the grammatical notes. Page numbers and location of the examples read are given on the recording. The speaker is a youg woman with no American accent whatsoever. She must be an Isreali. At times she seems to be slightly bored with what she is doing but on the whole her performance is quite satisfactory. This is an excellent introduction to the sound of ancient Hebrew and I highly recommend it. I gave it only four stars because the producers should have added a male voice.
