3.0 out of 5 stars Good information
This book is a good source and definitely has some extraordinary insights and information. Nevertheless, I have found several very major errors that make some of her information questionable and make me wonder if she was only trying to prove her point at the expense of some facts that could have went against some of her ideas.

This review is from: Biblical History of Black Mankind (Paperback)
This is one of the best written and most informative books that I have ever read. The author is a Greek and Hebrew Language scholar. She has translated selected text from a copy of the original Hebrew and Greek manuscripts of the Old and New Testament Bible. As she translated these languages into English she found details concerning the origin of Mankind. This book includes details concerning the following: Blacks' Great Biblical Heritage, Origin of Blacks Revealed, Black Skin: A Sign of Prosperity, Origin of Whites and Jews Revealed. These details are not made known in the English translations of our present Bibles. Every household should have a copy of this revolutionary work. The author notes on the back of her book that she believes she was predestined to write this book, "For such a time as this." Although a copy of this book is now hard to find, it can be found at [...].

5.0 out of 5 stars Deep, beyond words, November 23, 2007
This review is from: Biblical History of Black Mankind (Paperback)
What I love most about my black people, other than the actual color of our skin, is our intelligence. C. McGhee Livers has plenty of that. Her book is filled with 173 pages of nothing but the truth!!!! There are no lies, here. She reads the original Hebrew manuscripts of the Old Testament and translates them into English. It is truly mindblowing because what one discovers is that the people who were God's chosen people from Adam, on down, were black!!!!! The very meaning of Adam is black. White people, in the Hebrew manuscripts of the Old Testament and ultimately in the Bible, weren't looked at, favorably, at all. If you combine this information with the fact the Lemba people of Afrika are the ancestors of the Cohanim Jews, then it's highly likely that the people who wrote the original texts of the Bible were black!!!!!!!!Imagine what would happen, if black people knew this information?!!! This is simply a life changing and world changing book! If you study information that's been gained from genetics, as well as, the discovery of ancient bones found in Afrika, we all know that the original man and woman of Earth was black. This book gives evidence that before the recent time of genetics and bone discovery that, in ancient times, people knew the same thing about the origin of man. It breaks down C. Mghee Livers information that she obtained from studying the original manuscripts of the bible. It's, simply, deep, black power, at its finest!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Biblical History of Black Mankind, August 12, 2007
This review is from: Biblical History of Black Mankind (Paperback)
Now this is an excellent book. I believe all mankind should read it, however, it is a must read for all people of color. In this book you will find the reasons why black mankind has had such a difficult time throughout history from the beginning to the end and many will also find peace because of our destiny.

5.0 out of 5 stars Revealing The Real Biblical Scriptures, January 10, 2007

This review is from: Biblical History of Black Mankind (Paperback)
C. McGhee Livers has done tremendous work in taking the original language from 4,000-year-old Greek & Hebrew texts and researching the semantics & language to reveal the true meaning of important Biblical scriptures.

She introduces her work through vocabulary and geneology lists & a map; and then it is a comprehensive, though highly readable exploration of word usage and sentence structure, with a focus on the Book of Genesis.

Chapters include The Garden of Eden, The Queen of Life, The Fall and Adhaim's Three Sons. Livers begins to bring everything together in The Curse of Cain and the summary contained in God's Word to Black Mankind is actually the penultimate coda. Please do not pass up the final chapter, The Story (Written For Children), which could have easily been an introduction to her work.

Documents do not lie, but the manipulation of interpretation has twisted the real meaning of the Holy Scriptures. Livers delivers a vitally powerful book that provides real meaning to the Bible.

This is one excellent book. It confirms what I have thought about what kind of dirt there is. I have never seen any dirt that resembles caucasions. This is a thought provocative reading. I must read it again because I want to study Is.18 and then get into it again. I think that it has a story book ending for blacks which I don't quite understand because I (right now) can't see how you seperate any race of christians from any other race. I've always thought that a christian is a christian no matter what. As long as you have Jesus IN YOU. But overall I like the book, like I said it is very thought provoking. It answers a lot of questions, especially of the linage of Seth. I recommend this book for any reader. Even with the few things that I did not understand as yet, I have purchased two more copies for a couple of my relatives so we can have a study and discussion once they have finished reading it. I applaude the author for doing this work. I would like to meet her and thank her personally.

The author presents little known facts, that one might not gleen from main stream gospel literature. I gained valuable information on characters such as Jared and Enoch. It should be a must read for any brother or sister and a part of their Biblical research library.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Useful Document for All Theologians, March 21, 2006
This review is from: Biblical History of Black Mankind (Paperback)
I have enjoyed this book immensely and believe the writer did a moderately good job of researching and documenting findings. I, however, have had much difficulty finding ways to get in touch with the writer to ask questions and have not been able to validate all of her sources.

I have long believed there were some things missing in the translation of the Bible. this book has answered many of my questions. This is the first book that I have that looks at it from the woman's prespective and that makes all the difference in the world. Being a woman I was very empowered by her explanation of God's purpose for women this book will do a lot for the self esteem of those who can receive it. Her explanation of Adam and his family and the mark of Cain was a mindblower but it finally made sense. I was elated to finally get the truth about Eve and the reason she was chosen by the serpent instead of Adam. This book really laid out the lineage of my people in a way that I will never forget. I have finally found the answers to many of the gaps in the Bible and in our biblical history and I have purchased this book as gifts for others in the ministry so they can pass it on and make a differnce in how we perceive ourselves.
