A lively, informative, entertaining book.,

This review is from: Bicarb: Buffers, Bubbles, Buscuits & Earthburps (Paperback)
Young adults in middle school on up will find Bicarb: Buffers, Bubbles, Biscuits & Earthburps intriguing: it uses the properties of sodium bicarbonate to relate a variety of scientific concepts from global warming to baking. This paperback with its black and white illustrations may lack the glitz of color texts on general science, but it makes up for this with a lively text which draws diverse and important connections between concepts and daily living.
