The shape and handles of the cup make it easy for her to use.

The tilt of the cup makes it simple for baby to drink from, while developing hand-coordination to bring cup to mouth.

I recommend it for anyone whose baby doesn't drink from a sippy cup, or who is learning to drink from a cup.

We didn't have a need to introduce a bottle until after 3 months old. By then it was too late. Tried countless bottles/nipples/sippy/straw/spouts, nothing worked. Surprisingly hard to find a regular light-weight cup with handles. The Doidy cup is awesome! The tilt of the cup makes it simple for baby to drink from, while developing hand-coordination to bring cup to mouth. Includes excellent instructions & tips for success.

We bought this cup for my 5 yr old daughter with Down Syndrome who still struggles with drinking form an open cup because of tongue protrusion. She has been opposed to drinking from open cups but she liked this cup. She is able to see as she is drinking and drink slow without spilling. The shape and handles of the cup make it easy for her to use.

I bought these cups for when my twins were 4 months old because they were really expressing interest in other people's cups. At one point even taking sips of water out of regular cups.

The great thing about a Doidy cup is that it accomodates baby foreheads. Normal cups can't tip back quite as far as small babies need the cup to without smacking their foreheads, but the slanted design of this cup allows them to actually get sips easily.

Yes, this is messy for kids that are learning. Just like every other thing that is messy. It's no self contained sippy cup by any means, but for learning purposes it's very well designed.

I use the Doidy cup by just putting a very small amount of water in the cup (a few sips or so) and letting my kids try to sip out of it. They are 9m and I still try to help guide them, but if they flail and spill water at least it's a few sips rather than a cup full of water.

They also just really like the cups. They like to hold them and it's great practice for holding cups. They are sturdy and have held up to play as well.

The handles are slim enough for tiny hands to grip easily, but they are very sturdy. I dont think they would easily break at all. My kids smack them on their high chair and they take a beating very well.

I think they will like these cups for a long time and it was a great purchase for that reason alone.

My EBF always tries to steal my cups. She never really took a bottle (didn't need to) and sippy cups are essentially glorified bottles, so I got this for her! She LOVES it. She has been using it since 4 months, and at 6 months she is pretty good at using it! We just started BLW and will give her some water in this. She of course dumps half of it, but it is a great learning tool. If she is drinking BM out of it, she gets help but can drink it down just fine! Everyone is so impressed to see such a little baby using a cup. :)

This cup is really great, really sturdy, neat colors. I like the idea of learning to drink from this. Baby is working on cups and food still, but I'm sure we'll get a lot of use out of this cup.

My one year old is using it quite well. She's been exclusively breastfed and I didn't want to start the bottle or sippy cup problem so we went straight to this. I wish they had made the handles easier for her to hold, or had not made them at all. But other than that, she drinks from it easily and we all love it.

Our daughter loves this cup, and mostly, it works well for her. However, as others have mentioned the handles are a little small even for her 6 month old hands.

This is my baby's favorite cup! It is very helpful when you start weaning the baby from the bottle or sippy cup and helps transition faster to a regular cup. Great quality too!
