An awesome deck of cards with great artwork and a cool look.

Very gothic, and the face cards have custom images by Anne Stokes that is frameable art in and of itself.

Every card in this deck bears an individual image, drawn from various fantasy tropes: Demonettes, Dragons, Werewolves, Vampires, skeletons, Jack-in-the-Green and so forth. These images are photo-realistic in presentation and of a very high quality in my opinion. There's an extra joker too.

The cards are a little thinner than ordinary playing cards such as Bicycle Rider back poker cards, quite usual for these specialist card decks.

They have a gloss finish to aid in fanning, and a very light texture almost like linen. A great combination.

Each card has a an index consisting of its ordinal value, a large number in either red or black as appropriate, and underneath the suit icon (the artwork precludes having traditional arrays of suit iconography in the body of the card).

These cards are perfect for the purpose I bought them for - for use in the Savage Worlds role-playing game. I recommend them highly as an alternative to the purpose-made Savage Worlds card decks, especially for fantasy and dark fantasy games.

Or, you know, just for looking at. The artwork deserves careful study on its own merits.

I got my cards today, and they are beautiful just as I figured from what I had seen on the internet. They feel nice, and the primary reason I got them was for a role playing game I am in atm figured they would be cool to use instead of normal cards for the game we are in. The only problem I have with the cards at the moment is instead of Ace cards, you have 1 cards. It just seems wrong to me that they would use 1 instead of A ... but meh the artwork is wonderful.

The artwork on these cards is really good. Each one has a unique design, and you get three jokers which are each unique as well. I found them surprisingly easy to play with despite the flashy imagery. The only thing that's confusing is that the aces are marked with a 1, which looks too similar to the jack's J.

If you like cards that deviate from the standard design, you should definitely add these to your collection.

The art on these cards is fantastic. Not just the backings, but each card has unique art, especially the face cards. I doubt I would use it for an everyday deck, but it's fun to play with once in a while. Of course it has the classic Bicycle quality, so it holds up well & shuffles well.

These cards have great detail on each and every card. Every time I look at the cards again its like I am looking at it for the first time. I notice something different every time. If u are just looking for some cool ancient looking cards then these are definitely the ones you want. 5 stars for $5

Well I bought a couple decks of these unusual playing cards thinking they might be a nice change of pace from the normal
"Bicycle" and "Bee" decks we usually play with.

Well, I was right, they are different.

However, the graphic nature of some of the designs as well as some scantily clad gothic women led me to re-think
bringing these out around small children and grandma. Possibly not appropriate for all age groups.

Personally I think they are awesome and would bring them out for a poker game with the guys but probably not for crazy 8's or go fish
with the family.

Great quality, and the pictures, oh they left me speechless, all my friends loved them, they are reserved for the major poker nights, for regular poker nights we use common cards.

Aside from the high quality of the cards, which you expcect from a Bicycle deck, the artwork on these cards is simply fantastic! Very gothic, and the face cards have custom images by Anne Stokes that is frameable art in and of itself. This is my favourite of my 14 custom card decks by a long way. I have a fondnes for Jesters, in particluarly Jester Skeletons, and the jokers in this deck just became my favourite pieces of artwork. Well done!
