"Often imitated, but never duplicated."

These are the real deal. When these cards were released, they resulted in an entire line of "similar" cards trying to match the success of the Black Tiger deck from other competitors. They don't even come close.

QUALITY AND DESIGN: These cards are top-notch. You can feel the difference between the thicker card stock of the Black Tiger deck compared to a regular deck. The card finish is the highest quality and has a nifty UV component, which allows it to glow under black light.

Even if you don't do magic, these are perfect for poker players and card collectors. At your next poker game, show your buddies something different. The Black Tigers are a work of art. And for all you card manipulators out there, these are the all-around best cards readily available. The design will turn heads and draw attention. Don't be confused though; Black Tigers are not just eye candy. The deck works great for any sybils, cuts, and fans that you can think of.

MAGICIAN'S POINT OF VIEW: Imagine you took pictures of a deck of cards and you developed those photos. While going through the negatives included, you notice a distinct, almost eerie black and white version of your cards. This is what the Black Tiger deck resembles.

As a magician, these cards are only limited by your imagination. These cards borderline paranormal when used in black light environments. I went to a Cosmic Bowling event with a few friends (for those unfamiliar, they replace all the lights with black lights and glowing bowling balls) and I decided to bring my Black Tiger deck. When we got bored, I prepared a quick magic trick. I brought out a regular deck of cards and had my friend "select" one. I went into a short story about how different lighting conditions change our perspective. I proceeded to do a simple color change and all that was left was the inverted Black Tiger version of her card GLOWING right in front of her. Needless to say, she freaked out. Do NOT underestimate the UV card finish. It is pretty magical in its own right.

Personally, I love the pure black and white version of the Tigers. They just look so perfect when I "drain" all the colors from a normal card. But, Ellusionist also has the Black Tiger deck with blood red colored pips. It's a matter of preference, but it is nice that you have an option.

In terms of its sleek design, smooth handling, durability, and price, I give these cards a 4.5 stars / 5 stars. These definitely are top of the line playing cards, but the price may be a bit more than average for a deck of cards (although the price is justified by the amount of ink required for each deck).

In terms of quality, they are only beat by the Masters deck. These cards are smooth and crisp, making fans and flourishes more satisfying than ever. The black background definitely adds an eerie and mysterious feel to the deck, drawing attention anywhere I pull them out. This makes for a great ice breaker at parties, especially when you want to attract that one girl's attention.

However, as I already said, its quality does not compare to that of the Masters deck. Also, the red-pipped Tiger deck looks much better than this black and white deck. The red on black color scheme adds so much to the beauty and artistic feel of the cards that I don't understand why Ellusionist even sells the colorless version.

Overall, it gets a 7/10, because by itself, it is certainly an amazing deck. But if you are going to buy a Tiger deck (which you definitely should, as they are worth every penny), go for the red-pipped one because they are worth it at even twice the price.

This is a really good deck.
I received it in four days, shipped in 2.
Looks great. The white pips add a sort of conformity. The backs are outstanding. They are pretty much a washed out version of the "Riderback" series.
2 reveals, top and barcode. Handles awesome. UV500 air flow finish
The sides aren't chipping for me. I don't know how other people use their cards. I use mine for magic, tricks, and flourishes.
I strongly recommend buying this deck of cards.

These cards are AMAZING, period. You will be impressed by the breathtaking look of the black on the white, it is just shocking. On top of the great look of this deck you get the best handling, as is expected with bicycle cards. The only problem with this deck is that the black can wear a little and you may have some white edges where it was once black. Other than that this deck is just the best in the world, if you are looking for a nice deck of cards to play poker with your friends, collect, or do shocking magic tricks then this deck is for you.

The look on the faces of my friends when they saw this deck was spectacular! The black and white colors really separate this deck from all the boring normal ones, it adds some clash and flash to any game or card tricks!

When i bought this deck i didnt know that it was the original black tiger deck, i wouldnt have ordered it if i knew, if your looking for the red pip deck this isnt it.

This deck of cards was the very first deck I ever bought. Since I bought these cards, I decided to start a collection of Playing Cards. Now I own over 30 decks of cards. These Black Tiger cards are the some of the best in my collection. I recommend buying this.

I looked at the title, read the description...and i recieved 2 days later...i was super excited then when i open the package...it was a gaff deck....WHAT THE HECK?!?!..i want a refund!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered this deck of cards as a birthday gift. They were exactly as I had hoped and arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

I was sent a Gaff deck from stay at home dads, and was unable to send the opened deck back. So before you open your deck do a quick check to MAKE SURE it has Bicycle NOT 3 spade on the top, if it has 3 spade send back! I know that is a pain your best bet is to click on the 3NEW link under the "In Stock" text and buy from Ellusionist INC.

However being sent the wrong deck is why I'll give stay at home dads a poor review not why I only gave the 3 stars;
Know what your getting;
-This run of the Black Tiger deck is NOT rare! The first run was limited and sold out in 96 hours, this run is in print as long as the demand is there(you will never be able to pass this deck off as the first the whole black light bit)
-Yes, this deck is striking BUT Art Work? Come on it's a standard face it just has all white and black I was expecting custom joker but they are standard too it's
-I give 6 stars to the card stock and finish, but if your not someone who handles cards a lot you won't be able to tell (I handed my pack to my mom her reply "what about them" then handed them to my dad and took them back before his drool got om them:)
