These are the best playing cards we've ever had. Once you use these, you won't want to go back to paper cards. At first, they're pretty slick, but they wear in quickly. They aren't damaged by water and don't crease like paper cards. The one disadvantage we found was that the spades and clubs printed on the blue ink wear down to make it difficult to differentiate between suits. That's why we bought two more sets. My husband loved these plastic cards so much that we went online in search of them when we couldn't find them in the stores anymore. Another huge bonus is the plastic case they come in. After 2 years of very heavy use, the only problems we had were the difficulty in reading the black suits and one tiny corner missing from one card. We will probably buy a case of these at some point to ensure that we will have them for the rest of our lives :)

I think these cards are pretty cool looking. A little difficult to read if the lighting is not right. These are great cards to shuffle
