I wanted some light inexpensive poker chips to take to the beach, cookouts, camping and such, and I didn't really expect anything more than cheap plastic chips for the price, but I was really dissappointed with what was shipped. I ordered two boxes so I would have one large set with enough chips for several players. When the shipment arrived the two display boxes were ripped and badly shopworn, which really didn't make much difference, however what did matter was that the two sets were missmatched. One had red, white and blue chips, and the other had ivory, maroon and dark blue. They weren't worth the hassle of returning so I just wrote the whole thing off as a bad deal and accepted the fact that like Yogi Berra would say "I made the wrong mistake". I ended up giving them to the neighbor kids to play with and ordering a different inexpensive set which ended up being better quality for less money and exactly what I wanted.

Who hasn't ever used this classic set of poker chips at some point in their life? These are the old classic inexpensive standbys that you can find pretty easily for any sort of card playing, be it poker, gin rummy, pinochle or whatever. These don't have the heft of the casino-style clay chips but they do have that classic sound when you throw one or many into the kitty. These are pretty much indispensable and ubiquitous; a great buy and great fun!

I'm not using these for card playing, and would be disappointed if I were - they're thin and very cheap. I use them for tokens my kid can earn for doing chores. They're right-sized and right-priced for my simple needs. And if I were inviting friends over for a game of poker I'd be embarrassed to pull these out as chips!

I wanted inexpensive plastic chips as these were described. They are perfect for occasional use
and will probably last forever. If you have ever received chips as part of an standard board game,
these are probably from the same manufacturer.

I was disappointed at how super-thin these chips are. They are see-through they are so thin. They are sturdy, however.

They are not fancy, but I wanted a lot of poker chips for not a lot of money, so these were the perfect option.

Wow! I don't understand why some people gave this only one or two stars. What did you expect? You are not at a casino. These are cheap chips that can be used to get a poker game started. Twenty years ago a metal briefcase of clay poker chips was hard to come by, and they were extremely expensive. $200 was a lot of money for a 16 year old in 1996, and then I came across these Bicycle chips in a grocery store for $5.00. These chips were perfect for getting a poker game going. After twenty years, I still love these things. I prefer using these over my clay ones.

The important thing to remember is that you need one box per person in order to get a good all night game going.

This product is as advertised. Some of the reviewers are saying that the chips are too thin, but these are not meant to be a substitute for casino poker chips. The chips appear to be quite durable and are perfect for our uses. For the price we paid this is a good deal.

We actually use these as a token reward system for our kids. Our kids receive the tokens when they complete chores and can turn them in for additional tv time, snacks, computer time, etc.

Since the chips do not have any poker references on them, the chips can have other purposes/uses as we use them for things other than poker since my wife and I do not play poker.

I actually purchased these more for a project I'm working on (needed some plain white chips). Problem though - I need ones with at least one blank/smooth center. These Bicycle chips have their logo on one side center and the company's name on the other. So scratch that. No big deal, that is what I get for buying a name brand product. They will still work for what they were intended - poker. I really haven't played cards with a pack of these chips since childhood. The chips I got seem a bit thinner than I remember them. Still, they are well made and lock together like I remember. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

After reviewing several other chip product, I decided to purchase the Bicycle Pokers chips. I received them in a timely fashion (just prior to the new school year). The product matched the online description. There was no damage to the package or the product. The chips will be used in the classroom as apart of a Kagan strategy.

Chips (relative) size: approximately the size of a 1/2 dollar. Each chip is thin (thinner than a quarter) but sturdy with an interlocking feature.
I would recommend this product for purchase.
