Great Book and Log for the Recreational/Sport Rider, January 16, 2002
This review is from: Bicycling Magazine's Ultimate Ride Guide: Programs, Tips, and Techniques to Enjoy Cycling Year-Round (Paperback)
I've used this book for three years in a row, and I love it. It's the first thing I pick up as soon as I get done with a ride. It might not be the thing for you if you are a pro/semi-pro rider who is laying down 200 miles a week and wants something fairly technical, but for the rest of us, it is an extremely usable guide and log. The info section is good and has several good tips, but the real plus is the log section. It's especially good for those of us who do more than just bike, as it has spots for logging any cross training you might do. I love this book and will be using it again this year, and hopefully for many years to come.

By A Customer
This review is from: Bicycling Magazine's Ultimate Ride Guide: Programs, Tips, and Techniques to Enjoy Cycling Year-Round (Paperback)
This book is well written and user friendly. I attained all of the information I needed to begin my journey into the world of Mountain Biking. I have recieved useful training tips as well as some excellent references to towns and trails to try. I reccomend this book to the enthusiast who is having trouble finding where to go and what to do once you're there.
