Best Tent I've Ever Owned., June 28, 2009
I love this tent. I've worked in an outdoor gear shop for a couple of years and have hiked the entire AT and this is by far the best tent I've ever had. It quick and easy to set up, super light weight, made out of great material, and can be used to a huge variety of conditions. Best tent I've ever owned. Taking it on a coast to coast bike trip this coming October and November.

A Nearly Perfect Tent, April 1, 2009
There's a reason you see this same
Big Agnes design year after year:
It's because this tent is damn near perfect,
and there's really nothing to improve.
Excellent visibility, durability, breathability,
in a tiny, lightweight package. Plenty of room
for two decent sized adults, or one big man
and a 39 pound Australian Shepherd who
stretches out like he owns the place.

Great tent, July 17, 2011
This review is from: Big Agnes Seedhouse SL - 2 Person Tent (Misc.)
This tent is on its third summer, although I only use it on solo trips. When I bought it, it was the lightest, smallest "2 person" tent on the market (and probably one of the most expensive). I think of this as a big 1 person tent as it is smaller than any other 2 man tent I've ever owned. For 1 man and a dog its fine. I like extra space in the tent so its perfect for me. If you want a second person in there, you better be dating. You won't be able to get two sleeping pads in without overlap, its that tight.
To address the concern of another reviewer, it is watertight in my experience. Mine has been through hard rain and reasonably strong wind without a drop inside. I've never had a condensation issue due to the good ventilation but I camp in the Rockies where humidity is generally very low. I also have the matching footprint. Oh yeah, the little pocket above the door is placed perfectly to hold a head lamp for reading at night. Longer story short, maybe not worth $320 but there are deals out there for under $250 and its worth every penny at that price.
