When I bought my Seedhouse 2 I planned to do as I usually do: cut a piece of Tyvek and use it as a groundcloth. It's cheap (sometimes free), simple, and it works. Then I saw the Footprint offered and honestly, I can't remember why I actually purchased it, BUT, AM I GLAD I DID! It wasn't expensive but it is way convenient! It fits the tent perfectly. It's really light. It packs up much smaller than my Tyvek. It's quiet- heck, I forget about it it's so easy. Also it works great with just the fly for a really light shelter when I don't need the bug net portion of the tent. I'm ALL IN!
