This review is from: Big Agnes Zirkel SL 20 Degree Sleeping Bag (Sports)
As a motorcyclist I needed a good sleeping bag that would pack down well to fit on my motorcycle. I had read good things about "Big Agnes" products and one this bag went on sale I decided to give it a try

This bag would probably work well for most people expecting overnight temperatures to be above 20 degrees. It is actually designed to work with one of their air mattresses and has very little down on the bottom. It has a "sleeve" for the mattress to slip in which prevents you from rolling off of it, it really does work well. There is also a built in "Stuff sack" which you can fill with your clothing to create a pillow that won't get away from you in your sleep.

Down filled sleeping bags actually have a rating that indicates the ability of the down to "loft" - which is the amount of volume one ounce of down will fill. A 600 rating is adequate for most applications, this bag has a rating of 775 - which is the highest quality available (and why the bag cost more) Down sleeping bags are usually smaller and lighter then synthetic filled sleeping bags but they can cost up to 50% more

I am very happy with this bag. Here is the air mattress I purchased to go with it

4.0 out of 5 stars New type of sleeping bag, October 15, 2010

I like Big Agnes. The bag is big enough for me to move around while sleeping. The integrated pad keeps the bag weight down, and stable as I sleep. The zipper from shoulder to head is difficult to close. The bag is light, and the outside is reasonably tough. I like the compressibility. Few feathers leaking. I have trouble dealing with cold at night, not sure how to grade bags warmth. I like it, recommend it, would buy again. Amazon price was terrific!

I cut down a cheap foam pad to fit the bag. The design of the pad pouch on the bag makes holding this pad easy. I did this because I wanted more R factor under me than a blow-up provides. My backpack handles the pad easily, so I don't need the roll-up space saving of a more expensive pad.
