A New Band That's Really On Fire,

I have been a Jazz, and Swing fan for decades.This new Spitfire band is the best I have ever heard. Bright, crisp, and on fire. Every score is a keeper. I can't wait for more of their work to be recorded. Their lead trumpet and trombone men are not to be believed, they're that good. If you like Jazz, and Swing, this CD is a must.

THIS WILL BE THE 5TH SPITFIRE BAND CD THAT I HAVE PURCHASED. IT IS A GOOD CD. MOST OF THE ARRANGEMENTS ARE OK. OUT OF 13 TRACKS LISTED I LIKED 8.

Wow! What a great band. This band has got to be the best discovery in the last 40 years. The last great band i can remember is Si Zentner.This band sure knows how to play. They are a high energy band. It's impossible to listen to them without getting your heart rate up. Another thing that has impressed me about this band is their song selection. They seems to have the right blend of old songs and fairly new ones. The style they play in is the old time style. I think any one wanting to relive the glory days of the big bands will want to listen to this cd. I Would Like To Strongly Recommend This Cd

a fine bandonly gripe is that everything is played too fast for me with not enough feel,even days of wine and roses ! if you want great discoveries try bert kaempfert,the bbc big band , and hugo winterhalter

This could be a benchmark for young musicians attempting to learn how to play in their high school jazz bands. The mixing of sectional play is superb...the energy of the performance is electrifying. Without a doubt, the best album yet for this incredible group!
