I played this game at a toy fair recently. This game has a real arcade feel to it, that means it is FUN!
I had a blast playing this game, the fish look awesome and the fishing areas look great. The music is awesome too, when you get a huge muskellenge on the line and the music starts pumping, it really gets the adrenaline going. As far as I know this is also the first fishing game with POWER UPS ! This is an awesome feature, and adds an extra skill level to the whole thing. Unlike a lot of other fishing games, this one has lots of different ways to fish, and tons of different fish. They all act really realistic too, and pulling them in gets harder as you proceed thru the levels. If you enjoy fishing games, and even if you don't, you will like this one. I did.

This is the best fishing game I have ever played. Probably the best part about it is the graphics of the fish and the way they fight like crazy on the line. It is a real 'gamers' fishing game. Hardly any waiting around like in the other games, here it is all action and lot of fun. There are even underwater power ups for you to use! The backgrounds and rivers are really good, and the music is awesome. If you are thinking about getting a fishing game for your ps1 (or even PS2!) get this one, its very very good fun.

This is a very crappy fishing game.Why do people bother to make games that suck.Everthing about this game sucks.Let's start with the fact that you cannot choose a character or genger you can only fish as a woman in short shorts and a half tank top.The lures all suck all the lures look the same and they are all the same color and the same type of lure and they don't have very many to choose from.You can only choose where you fish and there's not that many spots to choose from.After you have chose your fishing spot and sitting there wating for it to load next to the load bar is a large picture of a woman model in short shorts and an open shirt with no bikini top or bra on which means her boobs are showing.I guess they thought that only men would play this game.They probablly thought women don't play fishing games and I guess they did'nt think little kids would play this game after all it is rated E for everyone but I don't know how it is rated E.The next thing is the fishing spot you can only fish the bank and no where else and the only way you can move the boat is left or right but you can only move so far before you can't move any more.The casting sucks to you might be lucky if your able to get the lure half the distance you want it to go.After you have cast and the lure is in the water a fish will bite the lure but you can't set the hook I found no way to set the hook.Then after you loose the fish the woman your fishing as will wine.If your thinking of getting this game don't get it you'll only be wasting your time and money.If you want a good fishing game go an get EA Sports Championship Bass.It is way better than this game.Or you might want to get Rapala Pro Fishing again it's another game way better than this game.
