I purchased this DVD merely to examine Mr. Cook's turntable skills because I was curious to see how a real pro does it, but I got so much more. Being an American, I've never really had the peak rave experience that I've always heard described by the real UK party people, but I believe I've seen it. This could be a National Geographic film about how people behave and what they look like when they're having fun. Everybody looked so happy and so unselfconscious it was truly beautiful to behold. If extra terrestrials saw only this film as a record of us they would think that this is a happy planet. Nobody gives the finger to the camera as you might expect, but smiles and carries on. Maybe I'm naive and everybody was rolling, but I was stone cold sober and i started to smile along with everybody. A great thing to watch if you're a people watcher because it's every bit as much about the people as it is about mr. slim. The visual effects were stunning as well. And Fatboy Slim,what a guy. you won't be sorry if you see this, it's better than you think.

I have no idea what got mixed in with the other reviewers' coffee. This DVD is ubelieveable. First, it has enough extras to keep a fatboy fan happy (type 303 to see a half hour backstage clip) and the music is great. He certainly mixes throughout the whole thing despite what other reviewers say. You won't be disappointed.

All I can say is, if you couldn't be there because you dont live in the UK, then get this DVD!

This DVD sums up everything that is Fatboy Slim, its brilliant, the way he can get a crowd going is like no other DJ, and playing a free gig in his home town, well, it was bound to be big.

This DVD does contain most of the tracks that Fatboy played, but not all. If there is a DVD out there of the first Big Beach Boutique get that one, it was better than the second, but not as big. Brighton is a town of about 300,000 people, and 260,000 or so were on the beach, one of the best experiences of my life and everytime I watch this DVD it brings memories back. Get this DVD, the crowd shots cant do it justice, but, Get this DVD.

Whoa, this is it. The track listing is insane and to see that amount of people at one party is amazing. And the production is just killer on the DVD along with some really cool features. The interview with Norman is just hysterical as well,. This is definitely a must for any house head or straight up music lover.

I think that this DVD was pretty sweet. When I saw it for the first time I thought yea this is pretty goo, but the more I watched it the more I enjoyed it. I definately do not agree with the skeptics that reviewed this DVD before me. I liked it I would check it out.

I have seen this film/video once on HBO or SHOWTIME, and it blew my mind. I'm European but I've never seen such an awesome party w/ such a great musician as Fatboy Slim.
All I have to say Europe knows how to party, everything was under control, and people were enjoying themselves to its fullest.
I'm def getting this DVD, I'm happy Amazon carries such Dvd's.
I also think its a great DVD for any Summer parties at your HOuse or, you put it into the Dvd, awesome music is playing, for those that like to sit around and watch, can do that also.
100% Recommend it.

And now my desire is to go to Ibiza, cause that's how they party in Ibiza.

Ok I saw this today at my best friends house and it was off the hook! Norman Cook is such a likable guy. He was like a kid in a candy store up their playing for 1000's dancing and having a great time. The guy that gave the negative review and said people didn't seem like they were having a good time must was looking at the cup half empty here because this video is like 2 hours of people smiling, yelling, and dancing their butts off, having an awesome time, and what the electronic dance music culture is all about! If you have ever had a "magical" night somewhere dancing to great music then this is one to add to the collection. If you have wondered what a real electronic dance party is all about watch this. Over 250,000 people enjoying themselves to the talented and happy Norman Cook, on a beach, and people on boats dancing too. I wish I was there! When you watch it though, its kind of like you are : )

Wow, you must be talking about ANOTHER DVD... one that doesn't rock your f*cking socks off... on your planet, when people are happy, what do THEY do? It can't be smiling and dancing and waving their arms and jumping up and down like freakin' pogo sticks, 'cause that wouldn't make sense at all.
This is one of the best live concerts I've seen of any genre of music... every camera shot of the audience contains someone having the time of their lives... even if they don't fully realize it. :) maybe go relax a little and watch again. You never know.

excellent music. awesome dancing. so many cool people. i just wish i could have been there. put this DVD on & DANCE!

Although I dont think Fatboy slim is that great of a dj. This is an excellent DVD to throw on for parties.
