This review is from: The Big Bigfoot Book (Paperback)
The BIG Bigfoot Book, an offbeat collection of comics from a diverse group of writers and artists, rarely fails to entertain. I particularly enjoyed "Bigfoot vs. Donkey Kong", written by Mark London Williams, illustrated by Phil Hester with Marc Erickson and Fred Gorham, which portrays Bigfoot as an eco-terrorist, and the Eisner-esque "Bright Lights, Big Feet", by Batton Lash, featuring everyone's favorite lawyers, Wolff and Byrd, Counselors of The Macabre. Also of interest were the gentle vignette "What It Was Was Bigfoot", "Big Stick", which features Teddy Roosevelt, "Shadow over Bigfoot", wherein William Browning Spencer once again amusingly pursues Lovecraftian themes, and Neal Barrett Jr.'s "Bigfoot in Manhattan", a story which actually addresses the problems of having "big feet".

Not every piece is as successful as those mentioned above-- "Death of A Witch" by A.A. Attanasio and John Bergin was overwrought, and "Song of The Yeti" by Paul O. Miles and Dan Burr seemed out of place, given the general tenor of the collection--but I recommend The BIG Bigfoot Book nevertheless. Take it with you the next time you go camping--Bigfoot want might want to read over your shoulder.
