As other commenters have noted, the sound quality is near perfection, at least on the stereo SACD tracks that I listen to.

I love this album and not just for the sonics. It is sung and played with emotion and feeling without being smaltzy or tacky. It is on the easy listening side of the blues with no or few show-off pyrotechnics although the soloists go get their chances to show their stuff.

All in all, a very listener-oriented album. Goes great on a quiet night with a glass of rye whisky.

Amazing Sound Reproduction! It's full, lush with overtones, and exceptional presence. I recommend this without reservation. If you like Jimmy or the blues go for it.

Listening to this CD is almost like being in the room with the musicians. The separation is terrific and clarity beautiful.
