J.C. Suares is a consultant to various publications including Prevention, Runner's World, Variety, Discover and Heart and Soul. He has designed dozens of art books, drawn covers for the New Yorker, and edited nineteen books on cats and nine on dogs. He has two cats, Spookie and Lucy, who avoid each other at all cost, and eight polo ponies, all addicted to carrots.

I am a cat lover, but also love vintage photography. This book combines them both in a beautiful way. There are some newer photos too, and they are all in B/W. I keep this book on my coffee table, and I flip through it all the time- it is timeless. I think it would be a wonderful gift for any cat lover or a fan of photography.
