I got this book from Amazon. I specially wanted the SATB format of music the songs. But I was very much impressed with the chord signatures given in this book. I am learning a lot with this book. I also wanted many new songs. This has lot of new songs. Overall I am very happy with this book. I am very happy with Amazon in all the past transactions. Specially from a country like India, where we do not have access to such literature, I buy from Amazon. The products gets delievered with good safe packaging and at the earliest possible time.

This book is relatively easy to play. It has a lot of songs. I especially like the religious songs as that is what I use the most. It is in large enough print that makes it easy to read. It is a book that will last you for many years if you take care of it. It is sold at a bargain price.

The layout is excellent, the piano part is a nice 'easy intermediate' level. The guitar chords are easy to read and include the little 'finger chart' along with the letter name of each chord. But the repertoire is heavy on the little-known songs of the season -- such as "O Come Away, Ye Shepherds," "A Virgin Unspotted," "Neighbor What Has You So Excited," "He is Born, the Holy Child" and "O Let Us All Be Glad this day." I bought six copies of this book thinking it would be good for going carolling but I doubt if even half the songs would fall into the 'familiar' category. If you WANT to learn a bunch of Christmas songs that you've never heard before this would be an excellent choice.

I am a beginner on the violin and spend a lot of time now looking for music that I can play. This is a great book of Christmas music for the money. It is easy to read and has such a wide range of songs to choose from. Can you imagine a Christmas music book that has everything from "The Chipmunk Song" to "Oh Holy Night"? This was money well spent!

This is the must have music for the holidays! It contains the sheet music for both Christian carols and popular holiday. Something for everyone! I recommend this book to all musicians regardless of level of play. This is a true treasure trove of holiday music!

I found many of the songs I was looking for in this book. I did not find some of the more recent/rock songs that I would have liked to play. The difficulty of the songs was just right for me....most were of the beginner and intermediate level of difficulty.

The book I got is very nice, and fits the title description of the item. (Big Book of Christmas Songs Violin). HOWEVER, the "Look Inside" image shows music for piano, guitar and violin, whereas the book I have just contains the violin part. Even worse, the one song that is shown with the piano part included shows a different key signature than the same song in the book I recieved, so I can't simply purchase the other edition and use the books in tandem. I purchased the book so that I could play piano/violin duets with my daughter, what I ended up with was a book she can only use solo. If I had known, I would have purchased a different book, or a different edition. Not impressed that Amazon sells what is essentially two different books as one item in two editions.

This book does contain MANY songs. I was disappointed that over half of them I have never heard of and it does not contain many songs I would have liked to see in it. The music was a perfect level that I was able to sit down and just play them the first time and still sound nice and not too mediocre. I would buy the book again but I will also be looking for another book that contains the many songs it's lacking. I would have liked to have had just one large Christmas music book with all the common Christmas songs in it.

Is an excellent book with loads of different Christmas songs you can play with you're instrument, i encourage you to get one if you really like to play christmas songs :)

I purchased this book because I know that the music is excellent. I also have this book for the flute. I am learning to play the violin. I thought that it was important to have a nice, solo, violin book. There are so many songs to choose from. You'll have hours and hours of enjoyment. I'll use this book as an incentive to practice. I want to play beautiful Christmas songs on my violin. I loved the music on my flute. Happy Holidays!
