Editorial Reviews

Review

"The narratives in this new book are more than just tales of haunting spirits; they are also about our land and our history, and Ed breathes life into them as few writers have done before. This is quite simply the largest and best collection ever published on the subject." (Hal Roth Tidewater Times columnist 2010-04-01)

I really enjoy this book "The Big Book of of Maryland Ghost Stories". My favorite story in this book is about Todd's Inheritance which brought back memories of hanging around there when I was slightly younger. The former Todd's Inheritance care taker Elmer Cook who is mentioned in this book used to tutor me at the local college near where I reside, and I was shocked to find out about his suicidal death. I've also attended his funeral service and viewings, and prior to his death I've enjoyed talking to him & his mother Elva from time to time.
