Environmentalism without the Push,
This review is from: Big Book for Our Planet (Audio Cassette)
I had this book growing up as a child, and I remember thinking it was this most amazing book. All these different stories that in some way talked about saving the planet. And most importantly, that I, a little kid, could do something to help save it! This book talked about environmentalism before it was cool, before the "green" movement was nothing but a blip on the radar. It was illustrated beautifully, by all manner of artists. The stories were diverse, informative, inspirational, cautionary. Even as an 8 year old, I could understand the big picture.
I highly recommend for any parent who wants to show their children what an amazing planet this is, without pushing the kids into the politics of green.
