I have found few quilt books with as much valuable information as this book on crazy quilts. It is a good book for many types of quilts, but it EXCELS in the area of Crazy Quilts.

I originally borrowed this book from our library & liked it so well, I knew I had to have it in my own library collection. For quilters who like a wonderful variety of designers, this is the book for you! Easy to follow, colorful photos, great directions -- they're all here in this book!

I bought this book when I was just getting into quilting. It looked like it covered just about everything. I was right. The chapter on binding was worth the purchase price alone. It's well illustrated, easy to read, and loaded with ideas. If I was only allowed to have one book about quilting, this would be the one I kept.

This item is actually a reprint of four books:

The Essential Guide to Practically Perfect Patchwork: Everything You Need to Know to Make Your First Quilt with Pattern(s) by Michele Harer (2002)

The Magic of Crazy Quilting: A Complete Resource for Embellished Quilting by J. Marsha Michler (2003),

Fast-Folded Flowers: Timesaving Techniques for a Quilted Bouquet by Laura Farson (2001), and

Kaye Wood's Strip-Cut Quilts (2001).

Too bad that the cover and title page don't make that clear. Unless you already have one or more of these books, that's a lot of information for the price.

My friend has borrowed my book and even wanted to buy it, as she is a more experienced quilter then I am, but I found the same book through Amazon's used books and purchased it for her. The book arrived early and is new, I am very pleased and I'm sure my friend will be too.
