As a former student of Gene Pokorny, I must say that he is as great of a teacher as he is as a performer. I was thoroughly impressed with his great musicianship in this CD - it is a recommeded must own for any tubist...or any of those composers out there who don't believe that the tuba can be played with virtuosity!--EJL

cool, the master Gene Pokorny rides again. He sounds amazing as always, and does some pretty cool stuff. Almost a whole album recorded on the Arnold Jacobs CC tuba. KICK ...
