This review is from: The Big Brokers (Paperback)
The Big Brokers is the final book in a trilogy about gangsters in Los Vegas. It is fast-paced and realistic. It is best read with its prequels, The Amboy Dukes and Cry Tough, although it stands on its own. The series starts with the story of tough kids in a youth gang. In the second novel, one of the gang, Mitch, is uncertain whether to play it straight and live the humdrum life of a working stiff or to join his friends in what he believes is the glamorous life of a gangster. In The Big Brokers, Mitch and two of the former Amboy Dukes are sent to Los Vegas to run a casino. I recommend all these books highly.
