We LOVE this book,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Big Bug Ball (Picture Books) (Hardcover)
My son is 19 months old and can not get enough of this book. We literally read it 15-20 times a day. The story line is adorable and opens up several opportunities to talk to your child about feelings and social graces, but the thing that really grabs you are the beautiful illustrations. Talk about a visual treat and an instant vocabulary builder! Hope you love the book as much as we do.

Only one of the best read-aloud books EVER! I think I must have read this book thousands of times to my son - and I honestly enjoyed every time. It has a fantastic rhythm and I tend to read it with a southern accent which just seems to fit. The pictures are so interesting my son sits and looks and looks and looks at them. I cannot recommend this one highly enough!

Delightful and imaginative, appealing to the eye and the ear from start to finish. My two year old granddaughter and I see this as one of our favorite "go-to" books. My special delight was to find, mid story, a white,jump-suited Elvis with a cockroach face but just the right stance that I loved as a girl center stage. And who doesn't recognize the sentiments of the Sow Bugs as they finish up their "slow, gee I hate to go" dance at the end. This really is a keeper.

My 2-year old absolutely loves this excellent book, which says a lot because she gets tired of a book in about 3 weeks. She loves the sowbug. Whenever I want to get her to try to do something new and challenging, I always quote to her from this story "Sowbug, Sowbug, don't roll up and hide, you won't know if you like to dance until you've really tried." Than she lights up and mostly tries what I am asking her to do. The graphics is excellent as well, which makes for a highly entertaining book for children ..... and adults.:-)
