These are classic songs, however the recordings are NOT remastered. For all the early Bee Gees songs that have been carefully remastered in a two CD set (63 songs) with a booklet of copius liner notes, purchase "Brilliant From Birth" here at Amazon.

Like the CD "Claustrophobia", this is another attempt to cash in on the early Australian years of the Bee Gees. Don't Bother. The fantastic collection "Birth Of Brilliance-1963-1966" contains 32 tracks and is a collectors item. Once you have this, you can ignore all these 'copy-cat' recordings. Besides, the cover is false. Band members Vince Melouney and Colin Petersen were never in the Bee Gees until 1967. Nice cover though.

I LOVE THE BEE GEES, THEY ARE MY FAVORITE GROUP OF ALL TIME. THESE ARE VERY EARLY SONGS AND IF YOU'RE A TRUE FAN, YOU'LL WANT THESE, AS WELL AS THE TOP 40 HITS!! THE BEE GEES COULD NOT RECORD A SONG THAT A TRUE FAN WOULD NOT LIKE. IF YOU LIKE THE EARLY GROUPS LIKE HERMANS HERMITS, AND SONGS LIKE "FERRY ACROSS THE MERSEY," YOU WILL ENJOY THIS CD. I HAVE PURCHASED A LOT OF BEE GEES ALBUMS AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS COLLECTION OF EARLY STUFF.
