I got a size M(10-12) for my almost 8 yrs old daugther, She's little bit above average height for her age, it fits pretty good on her, good enough to keep it around for 1 or maybe two winters more. It's warm enough for PA winter. It comes with a special MP3 device pocket which makes my daugther loving it even more. THis coat has become her favorite coat.

We were very satisfied with this coat. We ordered it in the chocolate color and my daughter absolutely loved it. If you're not sure about the size I would recommend to go up a size. ALthough the coat fit my daughter it did run a little small.
