Awesome book!
What a wonderful pop-up book for construction-loving kids! The pop-ups are big and elaborate. I just wish they would publish this book again, as I think it would be a big seller.

Pop-up broke on first try
My infant son is fascinated by pop-up books and I've always loved them since I was a child. I am a civil engineer, and I was really looking forward to using this book to introduce my son to the construction industry. The book was pretty [$$$], but I figured it would be worth it. Wrong! My infant son is fascinated by pop-up books and I've always loved them since I was a child. I am a civil engineer, and I was really looking forward to using this book to introduce my son to the construction industry. The book was pretty [$$$], but I figured it would be worth it. Wrong! The pop-ups are very elaborate and when we got to the last page where the city is supposed to pop up, the buildings tore off the page. I tried to tape them back in, but no luck. I guess this book will have some use - it can teach my son about poor engineering design.

Great Pop-up for a 2 year-old,

My 2 year old son loves this book. He has learned all of the different names of construction equipment from it.
The pop-ups are quite elaborate and very well done. Our son does need close supervision when turning the pages, so this book wouldn't be suitable for a very young baby. The previous reviewer would have enjoyed the book more if she/he had introduced the book later. |
