My little girl loves this story, it's a simple, easy to understand yet entertaining story. I also found it useful for teaching her words, on each page I would ask her to find things for me or I would point at something and aske her to tell me what it was. She thoroughly enjoyed this game and learned a lot of new words through playing it.

Big Dog ... Little Dog was probably the first book I read on my own. 20 years ago my uncle read all of P D Eastman's stories to me and now I get to read these same stories to his children. The illustrations are beautiful and the stories just as wonderful. No child should grow up without hearing these stories just once.

The only problem is that the stories can be so funny they don't really work as bed time stories, I mean, the dogs do some of the silliest things that will keep your kids laughing for hours after.

My 2 1/2 yr old loves this book! It is a great bedtime read. It teaches opposites and colors, and it's one I don't mind reading over and over again. It also conveys that these two dogs are great friends, even though they have totally opposite preferences.

I'm extremely disappointed with the quality of this book - despite being a picture book, the text is independent of the pictures and the pictures are tiny on an iPad. As far as kids go, it's a sad excuse for a book. Not worth buying and I'm sorely disappointed in the quality of the experience. Save your money.

this is a lovely collection an excellent addition to your childrens library...you dont have to scramble to collect all the books

Easy reading for kindergarten and short enough for a quick read. Big dogs and little dogs. All kinds of dogs. Even a dog party maybe. It's okay.

Great book for preschoolers who also enjoy the Fred and Ted books. Simple words, basic rhymes and a story that teaches them basic concepts.

Cute story about Ted and Fred, two dog friends who are opposites. When they go on a skiing vacation, their accomodations leave them unable to rest easily, until a little bird gives them some good advice. Excellent for the kindergarten/first grade reader.

Not as good as the classic Go Dog Go, but my daughter still likes it.

My mum used to read this to me and now I do the same to my son. He loves it too, guess it will continue going on from generation to generation
