Even more so than with his last album, Big Dreams and High Hopes is a big disappointment. I have been listening to Jack Ingram since almost the beginning and it is sad to see the turn for the worse his music has taken in a bid to make it to the top of the country charts. The switch, however, hasn't been much of a success, and I think that is a good thing because after he gets dropped from the big label, he can start making new music that again truly reflect his talent. And of course, you can't blame Jack for taking a shot at a bigger paycheck: try and think of an artist who isn't guilty of it in at least some point of their career. As for this CD, Seeing Stars and Big Dreams and High Hopes are great songs, and as with This Is It, the last one in the set, is the best. In Your Corner offers reassurance that for Jack Ingram, his best music is still ahead of him. Download these three songs for sure, and if you are like me - a fan regardless, you will probably buy all eleven. And if don't own them already, buy his first five disks. They are all classics.

Jack's previous music has been good, but this CD is wonderful. It shows his growth as a mainstream artist and performer. The music grows on me every time I listen to it. I love Free, Big Dreams, High Hopes, and Man in Your Life. I hope Barbie Doll becomes a single since so many longtime fans LOVE that song! Congratulations, Jack!

This is a must have CD done in classic Jack style with great vocals and hard hitting lyrics. A collection of mostly ballads and the summertime anthem "Barefoot & Crazy" along with the previously released "That's a Man". A remarkable remake of the old crowd pleasin' "Barbie Doll" is better than the original version. Any of the remaining tracks could be the next hit single ("Not Giving Up On Me", "Heartache" & "Man in Your Life" are personal favorites). For die hard Jack fans this is a great addition to his music collection and for those who have not listened to Jack before, this is a wonderful CD to start with. Great job Jack. Keep on keeping on.

Jack's new cd Big Dreams & High Hopes is awesome! The singing by other artists were great! If you haven't been following Jack Ingram's music, now is the time. His music is the best.

This is a great new album from Jack Ingram. Every song is really good on it. This is fairly traditional country with some rock blended in also. Waaay better than most country music out there today on mainstream radio! Check it out!

This is a fantastic new offering by Jack Ingram. From the 1st song to the last there is an honest integrity to this CD that you don't see everyday.
Jack's vocals are great. My personal favorites are "Seeing Stars" and "Not Giving Up On Me".
This CD has something for everyone including a star-studded re-release of the famous "Barbie Doll" written by Jack and Todd Snider. This is a concert favorite.
Long time Jack fans and newbies alike will be happy they bought "Big Dreams and High Hopes">

this cd is a great one. i listen to his music a lot byt the first i heard about this album was on army wives on sunday the 23 of Agust. i think he is very talented

I have been a fan of singer Jack Ingram since I first heard his song 'Love You'. His music keeps getting better and with this album I am not disappointed. There is not one song on his new album that I don't like.

His music is amazing and this CD is a must have.

This album is nothing special. Makes me pine for the Beat Up Ford Band days. I find the sound of this album flat and overproduced at the same time. Big Dreams and High Hopes has an Acoustic Motel feel to it, which is great. The rest of the songs just don't grab me in any way, like he did the first time I heard Livin' or Dyin' back in 1997 and many of his subsequent albums and live shows. I'm still a fan, but the last two albums are way too much CMT and not enough Jack.

Good collection of songs. Lots of potential for growth.
"Stars" is sweet.
