More About the Author

Writing is my passion! Despite spending most of my working life as a total computer nerd, I'd always harboured a secret desire to become a writer. At the age of 35, after I'd had an absolute gutful of working with computers, I decided to only use computers for writing in future. I earned a diploma in Professional Counselling as a backup plan, and launched myself into a writing career.

I'm in the fortunate situation to have David (my partner since 1996) bringing home the bacon - mock bacon of course... he's a vegetarian - which allows me the time to write, develop my style, and discover my favourite genres. I can't seem to settle on one particular genre, so in my body of work you will find science fiction, horror, fantasy, and gay comedy dramas.

David and I live in Surfer's Paradise on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, although neither of us have set foot on a surfboard in our entire lives. We are quite spiritual, and have a deep respect for nature. Over the years we have spent time living in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Luxembourg, but there's no place like home.

Aside from writing, my other passion in life is supporting and guiding teenagers with sexuality and gender identity issues through an extremely difficult time in their lives. I have a powerful drive to maintain or re-unite their family units, ensuring that no matter what obstacles life throws at them, the teen will always have the love and support of their family. I offer a free support service on the Gold Coast that is aimed purely at helping teens and their families learn to appreciate each other again.

I loved this book. It is laugh out loud funny in some places and very touching in others. My favourite character is Patricia!! Absolutely amazing.
