However you must register online to use this app. You can play free or play with purchased coins. I do not like games that I have to register online with so this was not my favorite. If that does not matter to you check it out.

Starting with Card Ace: Blackjack, I've been quite a fan of the title from Self Aware Games. Card Ace: Casino is their third installment of the Card Ace series, which also includes Card Ace: Hold 'em Poker. As with the previous two games, Card Ace: Casino is free to play. Each you day play, you get free chips to play with, and of course can buy more. (Note, Card Ace games are free of ads. The purchase of chips is the only monetary support for Self Aware Games.) While you can continue using the standalone versions of Blackjack and Hold'em, Casino makes them obsolete as it includes both. Upon install, Casino will pull your profile data over so you're not starting from scratch, including all your achievements, pics, and chips. Casino also includes a couple new games, which are Slots and Word Ace.

As with the previous released, Casino's graphics are nicely detailed. Not "OMG! That's amazing!" level, but very nice. It also scaled up on my tablet's 10" screen much better than the older two titles, using 3/4 of the screen vs 1/4. The soundtrack and sound effects are loungy, adding to the general feel of the game. Casino does seem to suffer a bit in terms of performance, compared to the other two. Little hesitations here and there in the gameplay, slow loading images, and the like. This lag doesn't destroy the gameplay, but it does detract from it a bit. Hopefully Self Aware can tighten up the code a bit and squeeze some more speed out of it.

Now, the lag is one issue I mentioned, which is partially responsible for the loss of one star in the rating. The other thing I'm not fond of is how accounts are handled with Self Aware. There is no login name or password. Instead, you're assigned a Friend ID number. That's ok, if you're only playing on one device and it's a brand new device that wasn't owned before. If you play on more than one device, like me, things can get a little hairy. The initial install of Casino, and its mates, on my tablet resulted in me having access to someone else's account instead of a fresh new one or my own. I could change their name and pictures, blow their chips on wild bets, add and remove friends, etc. Totally not cool. I was able to get it sorted out by contacting Self Aware, which involved them transferring accounts around and me uninstalling and reinstalling the apps on both phone and tablet. It took a few days, but it's been working ok since. My point though is that if Self Aware used login name and passwords, this sort of thing wouldn't happen.

As a result of playing this app, I have been phished for emails, stalked on and off the game, and Big Fish does NOTHING. I spent 2000 USD and BFC will do nothing to ban the accounts that are stalking and harassing me. On BFC a user can create as many accounts as they want, which leads to a safe haven for trolls of all types. I got better customer service at Jack n the Box and all I bought was a taco.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP! BIG FISH CASINO IS A BAD INVESTMENT AND MODS DO NOT CARE!
