5.0 out of 5 stars Great hidden object game, longer than most, highly recommend.
This title also gets great reviews from people purchasing the CD of the game for nearly twenty dollars. At $6.99 it is a bargain. You have to REALLY like hidden object games to not get bored with this. At first it's quite interesting with plenty of nice graphics and facts about London, but then you keep going back to the same landmarks over and over again to find objects that you start to remember the locations of because they stay in the same place. This title also gets great reviews from people purchasing the CD of the game for nearly twenty dollars. At $6.99 it is a bargain. The designers of this game have tried to take the Hidden Object genre to another level and, for the most part, it really works!! Each scene is actually broken up into 16 segments that can be viewed individually or you can pan with a 360 degree camera. There is also a "magnifying glass" you can use to take a closer look when the scene has small objects. This is the first game that I have found to have magnification that is actually useful. It seems possible to find all the items without the magnification, but if you have 'older' eyes, this may be just the help you need. Each scene has a list of objects that need to be found. The list may be specific (e.g., glasses, alligator, umbrella, etc.) or it may just say "Food and Beverages - 7" or "animals and insects - 6", some scenes provide silhouettes of objects. There a two levels of game play, one is untimed with unlimited hints (hints take only 60 seconds to recharge). The other level gives only a certain amount of hints, is timed, and time is deducted for any clicks on the screen that do not result in finding an object. There are also mini-puzzles, and that is where the game is the weakest. They are few and far between and very easy to solve. In conclusion, this is a great hidden object game -- perhaps 90% hidden object and 10% puzzle. Unlike many other games, you can play it over and over again because the items you are asked to find change in each scene. I have already played for about four hours and I am not finished. I am guessing it will take about 8 or more hours to complete. As far as hidden object games go, this is the best one I have played since Return to Ravenhearst. If you enjoy the puzzle aspects more than the hidden objects, I would recommend Princess Isabella, Treasure Seekers - Hidden Canvasses, and the Dream Chronicles Series.

I can't add much to the review by Carter's Mom, as she captured much of what I liked about the game. One aspect I especially enjoyed was the realistic graphics - this game uses actual photographs of the locations in the story. As an Anglophile and former resident of London, I was charmed to revisit the Tower, Hamley's, the London Dungeons and Piccadilly. Each location, from clothing stores to pubs to historical buildings, is offered with some interesting facts about the location.

The storyline is good with an ending that will have your heart racing even in 'relaxed mode'. One quibble - the death of a character is dismissed a bit too quickly. Otherwise, it's a plausible, though entirely fictional, solution to the mystery of Jack the Ripper.

At first it's quite interesting with plenty of nice graphics and facts about London, but then you keep going back to the same landmarks over and over again to find objects that you start to remember the locations of because they stay in the same place. There are a few other puzzles here and there like word finds and such, but the game doesn't actually require any more skill than good vision.

I love Hidden Object and Puzzle games and I've bought 14 of those games from Amazon in the past 4 months. This one just wasn't all that great. I actually quit before I made it half-way through because it's pretty boring. Yes, it's unique in that the screen is cut into 16 segments where the hidden objects can be found, but that is also the draw-back. It becomes monotonous searching from screen to screen trying to find the last 2 items. The storyline is also weak, although it does give you interesting facts about the locations where you've been, but I would rather play a game instead of a history lesson. The "puzzles" between levels are pretty much the same you find in most of these games, but they are too easy, and I've seen them all before. Overall, it couldn't keep my attention, and I usually get sucked into these games until I've finished within a day or two. This one I will save for a rainy day when I have absolutely nothing else to do.

I like hidden object games but this is one of the least rewarding of the ones that I have played. The graphics were interesting for about 2 minutes and after that it became tedious using the ball to circle around the 360 display to find the hidden objects. After one has found a hidden object, it disappears off the list. I prefer games where the object is crossed out so you can see what you've found. The puzzles weren't very challenging. Finally, every time I 'quit' out of the game, I had to reset my monitor display settings for my 2nd monitor (I have 2 monitors going). Nothing irritates me more than an application that changes my settings to operate and then doesn't restore them when it is shut down. This is the 2nd time that a Go Fish game has done that to me, so I don't think I'll be buying any more from this company.

Fun/ Entertaining seek and find game. The multiple screens add to the challenge - yet for the most part its not too difficult to find items. They give you a decent amount of hint chances. Price is right for the download!
