All the age groups (2-5 yrs.) at the preschool I work at love this cd. My class especially loves the song "Silly Willies." I love it because all the children in my class will get involved in dancing, moving, and singing. I also like the chicken dance mix of songs. It is "Big Fun."

I teach a preschool exercise class - and this is the best CD I have found that incorporates movements and music at a simple level for the kids. The kids especially love the chicken dance! I will probably order every other CD these artists make - it's that great!

I have nearly all of Greg and Steve's CD's and BIG FUN is my favorate as well as my two year old's. We have alot of "fun" interacting with the music and this one is one of the most up-beat selections of music. Silly Willy's is everyone's favorate but there are so many and, like all of Greg and Steve's CD's, the kids have so much fun interacting with the music.

This CD contains a terrific music selection including The Chicken Dance, Itsy Bitsy Spider and Silly Willies. It has already become a favorite in my kindergarten classroom. Some songs are sung as echo and the class is joining in on the very first play. As soon as the song is over I hear many requests to "Play it again!" The songs invite movement and put smiles on students faces as well as mine - great stress relief!

I use Greg & Steve's "Big Fun" CD every morning in my pre-school class . Children in our center ages 2 - 5 absolutely Love interacting with the songs (especially the Chicken Dance !) I Highly recommend Greg & Steve's Big Fun CD for all ages. You will enjoy watching the children laughing, learning, and having "Big Fun" !

My preschools love this CD. We use it for our morning routine. We start off with the silly willy, then do the chicken/itsy bitsy spider/head, shoulder, knees and toes. This gets all the wiggles out of them before calendar and story. Then we do My backyard and zoo party for second group.

My almost-3-year-old son requests this CD often. He's recently started listening more closely to the lyrics and doing the motions (hands up, hands down) or the call-and-response. Greg and Steve use a kids' chorus on many of the songs, and I think that encourages him. With some coaching, I think he'll figure out how to dance to the other songs, too, like the animal-motion "New Zoo Review" and "The Party Line." So, five stars for that!

That said, I have to subtract two stars for how annoying and dated this music sounds to me as an adult. The smooth "Magic of Reading" is like an 80s sitcom theme, and even has a cheesy "Give me an R! (R) Give me an E!" interlude. "The Magic of a Smile" is saccharine, "The Movement Medley" is disjointed, and the whole CD sounds very canned. They may have used a laugh track. Now I understand why other parents have so eagerly embraced kids' CDS from adult groups like They Might Be Giants and Barenaked Ladies: those CDs can engage both kids And adults. But even purely kids' artists like Sharon, Lois, and Bram are easier on my adult ears than Greg & Steve. Get this CD only if you're willing to tolerate it yourself.

This is an awesome cd! I use it with my students in our SMART room at school and they love it. It is very upbeat and fun!

I received the cd quickly and used it with a sumer group which loved it.

The kids LOVE the Movement Melody, they call it the Pony Song! It's a GREAT cd for kids to dance and sing to. This was actually a second purchase of the EXACT cd, the other one was so old it didn't play anymore from all the wear and tear! = )
