Compared to the Big Blue Book,

I have "The Big Green Book of Beginner Books" and The BIG Blue Book of Beginner Books. The stories in both books are easy for beginning readers; but the stories in the blue book have full plots and are more interesting. The green book stories are sillier and nonsensical. Dr. Seuss has written much better stories than these.My daughter says she likes both books equally well. She especially enjoys searching for all the silly objects in "Wacky Wednesday." I will give her opinion more weight in the star rating. After all, it is a children's book and it does what I want, which is motivate her to read. I personally would have given it 3 stars. If you are trying to decide between the blue book or the green book, I'd recommend the blue book.

I'm thrilled to have all these books in one book and to have all the pictures the original books had makes it not only a lot less money but more convenient to store on the book shelf - I hadn't seen the Duck Feet book since my nephew memorized it when he was small and now he is 47 years old so it was even more of a thrill to see it in this book.
