Ty Herndon isn't getting the attention he deserves. His music is always done with feeling and is always moving. His love of music comes through with each c.d. I highly recommend his music and to seeing him in concert if given the chance

Since his debut in 1995, Ty Herndon has watched his previous two albums with Epic Records turn gold. His third Epic Records album, "Big Hopes" released in May '98, portrays the inner depth, passion, and positive outlook of a country musician who has reached a new level of maturity within his career, and the resulting happiness that accompanies such a perspective.

"My new album, "Ty Herndon: Big Hopes" is probably the best work I have done. I believe this is due to the fact that I am the happiest I have ever been in my life, which is a direct reflection on my work these days," Herndon revealed in a recent interview with this reviewer.

"I think albums progress like your life progresses. The more you learn from life the more you are able to learn from the material itself," Herndon added.

The first "Big Hopes" single, released in March '98, was "A Man Holdin' On (To A Woman Lettin' Go). Rising in the charts to an impressive Top 5 country single status, this tender ballad depicts a lifestory of young love, hard times, parenthood, and the loss of a loved one.

The second single, "It Must Be Love" was released in August '98, and is already well on it's way to becoming Herndon's next #1 hit. The uptempo love song, done in a romping question and answer format,features the impressive background vocals of Epic Records label mates "Sons Of The Desert."

According to Herndon, there are numerous stand out selections on this album, such as "Hands Of A Working Man", "Big Time Dreamer", and the duet with Patty Loveless entitled "Tears In God's Eyes."

Ty Herndon is at his finest with this album that has the innate ability to take it's listeners' on an emotionally charged musical journey of inspiration, strength, love, and "Big Hopes."
