It offers great padding and the hold is amazing.

It is very difficult for me to slide the futon back up the frame, and even when I was able to accomplish this, it immediately started slipping down again.

This product is easy to cut for my drawers in my tool chest.

I was worried at first before I bought these because of the grid design. I prefer a more solid rubber mat type design. I couldn't find anything like that though so I took a chance on these and I'm glad I did. The grid design actually helps immeasurably to get the cut right. Without it, you would have to do some extremely careful measuring and cutting. Once cut they fit perfectly and they stick to the bottom of the drawers much better that the rubber mats I have used in the past did. They really do look, feel, and work great. I highly recommend this product.

This material is easy to cut and stays at the bottom of tool drawers very well. It keeps things from sliding as well as any other that I've used. My only gripe is that 22.5 inches is very common for tool storage rack drawers and 7 feet is an awkward length. If it were 8 feet (or even 7.5) then I'd be able to do four drawers in a standard rack instead of three.

That being said, it (several rolls) left me with lots of scrap pieces. They are good for china cabinets to put under things that might slip or slide. I put one in a kitchen drawer underneath a plastic flatware organizer, and it kept it from sliding. There are materials designed specifically for kitchen shelves that won't work nearly as well, but the trade off is that this looks good in a tool chest but not in a kitchen. If it's covered by something completely, that won't matter.

I'd recommend it for most applications, but it's not a solid mat. Solid mats won't keep things in place as well, but might be best for the tops of metal cabinets or benches where abuse is more of an issue than sliding.

This stuff is great. If you have a Sears tool box, it comes in exactly the right depth to fit your drawers and it is much more cost effective than the pre-cut liners you can buy from Sears. Also, it's a got great liner qualities in that it holds your tools in place and keeps them from sliding around in the drawer. My only knock is that it should come in 8 foot rolls which would make it better able to 'populate' the drawers in a Sears tool chest. Although, I haven't validated this application, it also looks like it would be a great liner for kitchen drawers and cabinets. All in all, this is a great product...

Great for my tool box. I did not have enough for my 5 drawer tool box and found the same material at Walmart by half price! I'd start there first to save

I have been displaced from my home and borrowed my son's futon couch/bed to use just as a couch. While I was grateful to have something to sit on, I noticed (well, my back and legs noticed) that the futon slipped down quite a bit, leaving me sitting awkwardly. It is very difficult for me to slide the futon back up the frame, and even when I was able to accomplish this, it immediately started slipping down again. What to do? So I googled it. Before my brain surgery, I probably would have figured out a solution quite quickly, but alas, my do-it-yourself brain cells have not quite gotten their strength back. Anyway, I found many googlers who recommended using drawer liner and immediately came to Amazon to find it. I have used plastic/vinyl liners in drawers before, and was not sure that the type I had used in the past would be "heavy-duty" enough to hold the futon in place. Then I saw the Big Horn Liner and seeing it was made for tool boxes, hoped it would be strong enough for the job. I ordered 2 so I could make sure I could cover both the seat and the lower back of the frame. I know this sounds silly, but I was excited when the product arrived and even more excited when I opened the package and determined the high quality and strength of the liners! I had a neighbor help me lay the frame down and take the futon off. I am happy that I ordered 2 as the length was only just a couple of inches off. I cut each piece to size and taped one to the seat and the other to the back of the frame, then we put the futon back on, raised the frame up and I am VERY pleased to say that the futon has not slipped since! I am using the scraps of the liner in my own tool box, which I look forward to using again some day. Until then, I am now sitting MUCH more comfortably and my back and legs feel much better! I think this is a great product for many uses, not just as a tool box liner. If you are looking for a HEAVY DUTY liner, this is your product. Great price, great quality.

I actually bought this to keep my MacbookPro laptop from slipping off an Ikea laptop/reading stand that is sloped.
Works brilliantly for that. And i have lots left for other stuff. Good quality and value. Better than others I've tried.

I know the math should be pretty easy but I thought 2 rolls would easily do my new tool chest rig with 26" base, mid unit and top box. Even with some creative piecing, I really should have had 3 rolls. The material fit the larger, lower drawers perfectly as they are 16" deep but the upper, 10.5 inch deep made for less efficient use of it. There is a slightly adhesive tack to this material the makes for good, easy placement.
